Angels Senior Photos

I met Angel and her mom at my house on Saturday. It was a blistering cold day with no end to the snowfall in sight so we started off inside. We eventually made it outside in the knee high snow and got some great outdoor portraits. Here are a few of my favorite there will definatly be more to come.

probably one of my favorite portraits of the year!

The Moore Family

I met the Moore family at one of my favorite places to photograph. The whole family withstood the cold weather while we got some perfect family shots for their walls. I was so happy to try some new poses/ideas and some new places with such great looking people.
I got this idea from another photographer and just had to try it I had the moore kids come up with a word that describes each of their personalities and write it on their hands this is my favorite shot of the day

I love this shot of father and son

*sorry for all of the black and white shots I have been really into the timeless look of them lately

Pam and Keith Aalderink

Pam came to me looking for a classic portrait of her and her husband but needed this session to be super secret so that she could give their kids a copy of the portrait for christmas. After taking the first shot and getting this amazing portrait I knew it was going to be a great session. We got a couple more great shots but this was the one that they fell in love with. I had a great time taking your photos you two are very fun to work with. I hope your daughters loved them.

Merry Christmas

I have been very busy lately, lots of secret sessions to post (but you'll have to wait until after Christmas) So for tonight my little man and I just wanted to wish everyone a VERY Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

New House

Well here it is the reason I have been so behind in posting what is happening at Jase Photography. My little guy and I have been preparing to move. We have been painting, cleaning and moving what we can to our new "little" house in Hamilton. Will has had so much fun running around a house that has no furniture. I am so excited to be moving, although it has kept me very busy.

Behind on Posts, A Farewell, and Family Photos.

It's been awhile since I have posted so this will be a very long, picture heavy post to catch up on all we are working on. Last Thursday the family, all 23 of us, crammed into my mom's little house and enjoyed a schmorgesbored of food, which included three turkeys. One of which was a 22 pounder. Sadly there was a very limited amount of leftover for turkey sandwiches. On that Saturday

I had the pleasure of photographing Natalie's beautiful family at there house in Fennville. We started out by getting some gorgeous portraits inside by there family Christmas tree, and ended up outside for some play time.

The Three boys of the Family

This Picture was replicated from one that was taken when the smallest boy was just a baby.

This was one of my favorites from the day, we had so much fun playing outside. Luckily their yard was one of the only that still had snow on it.

A few weeks before this festive holiday I had the pleasure of taking portraits of a young man who has decided to serve our country, Andy has decided to join the Air Force. Whenever a service member goes away to basic training it tugs at my heartstrings, as I know what its like to miss a family member who is in the service, so I offered my services to his family to get some shots of them all before he left to keep them from missing him too much. I met Andy and his family at his going away party, and took a few snaps of the party guests and the overall event as well as some of him and his family together. Here is one of my favorites of Andy from the whole day. Good luck to you Andy and thank you so much for doing what you do. Make us proud :)

After getting Andy safely off to Texas I met Tyler's mom and two brothers at the local Christmas tree farm. Tyler is my baby sisters boyfriend so when his mom asked me to take a couple of quick snapshots for her yearly Christmas I was really excited to try this new location out.

This is the Christmas Card That I designed for them.

Christmas Cards

Well the Holiday Season is upon us. This is by far my favorite time of year. So as I was sitting up last night looking at a zillion different christmas cards I decided that I should try making my own. 6 hours and 3 cards later this is what I have come up with.
